Who Are We?
The Children's Surgical Centre (CSC) is a non governmental organization (NGO) registered in Alaska , USA (Alaska entity # 76640D). CSC is non-profit, non-political, and non-religious, and is widely recognised in Cambodia for providing a range of specialized rehabilitation surgical services, surgical training and direct support to the people of Cambodia.
What Do We Do?
CSC aims to improve the quality of life for disabled Cambodian children and adults by providing rehabilitation surgery. Integral to this mission is a program of training local surgeons and health workers, focusing on the development of sustainable health services. CSC provides a wide range of surgery, encompassing orthopaedic surgery, eye surgery, and plastic & burn surgery
Why do we do it?
1. Surgical rehabilitation is beneficial to the patients, to their families, and to Cambodian society.
2. Suitable rehabilitation surgery is easy to organise, inexpensive, and is highly effective.
3. Locally trained surgeons can readily learn how to perform the procedures.
